I can predict the future... Re: Floyd Mayweather

After watching a once awesome fighter, "Shane Mosley" look so poor at the weekend, I've dedcided I can predict the future.

Floyd Mayweather's next opponent WILL BE SHANE MOSLEY!

Just watch what happens in the next week in the press, and you'll see this materialize.

p.s... I must add, I'm not a Mayweather hater!... I love watching him fight, but I REALLY NEED TO SEE HIM STEP UP THE COMPETITION!!!!... I have a bad feeling Mayweather is starting to take the Roy Jones Junior route, and look for poor shot fighters or weak champions and try and cement a legacy???

i believe that Hatton's camp is not crying out for the fight. They want to wait until at least next year. Cotto's camp also believes that he needs a couple more fights to mature in order to be able to be comptetative against PBF. I could be wrong though

I don't think I am... The fights don't happen, why?... Because Mayweather says so? I don't believe what Mayweather says.

Mayweather vs Mosley at 147lbs will be Mayweathers next fight... I'm sure of it.

Cottos camp said they did not want to fight Mayweather yet....

Father and business manager of Ricky Hatton openly admitted they turned down the chance to at least negotiation for a Mayweather fight in 2004. "That was the one fight, style wise, which I thought we needed a few more fights before taking," said father Ray Hatton.

hatton has said he wont fight him until next year, he is fighting ****ing maussa, and then 2 other fights before mayweather as h freely admits.

cotto is promote by arum who wont even put him in with kendall holt much less floyd mayweather.

i dont think cotto is ducking him but arum is protecting him and trying to make that fight as big as possible.

martin, you play it out like shane is not a threat...he's still fast and he's still strong. i think the smaller mayweather will have problems. mosely will be his most dangerous opponent to date.

as far as cotto...i still feel he's too green

as for hatton. well THAT'S THE RIGHT MATCH UP WE'D LIKE TO SEE. but mayweather is looking for the exposure and the bucks and shane mosley was/is a high profile fighter (i mean he's 2-2 in his last 4 fights). many americans (unfortunately) don't know hatton. but they know the guy who beat on de la hoya's ribs in two fights....

as for floyd...i don't think he's the type to duck fighters. honestly he has no where to go above 147. i see him fighting cotto, shane, dlh (who is now entertaining the thought)...but sooner or later he's gonna step up to that kid in machester and we'll all be richer for it.

I don't think Shane Mosley is a threat anymore... Shane used to be f**kin' awesome 4yrs ago! But it was like watching another fighter in the ring the other night... He'd lost all the magic he used to have, and was plodding around and getting caught too easy.

I think the 1st fight with Forrest did irreparable damage to Mosley.

not a threat to anyone? that's a bit premature. he's getting back to his boxer/puncher mode and away from that brawing garbage he exhibited post DLH 1 fight.

his last fight he was still trying to find his rhythm but you know as well as i do that an in-sync shane is dangerous especially for mayweather.

if you look at shane, he's durable and won't get hurt with mayweathers punches. he's faster than anyone mayweather has fought against (including guys at lightweight). he's stronger and naturally bigger. floyd will definately not try to stay in the pocket too long (if at all) and will be on the bicycle for the whole 12 rounds.

JLC caught floyd with some decent shots at 130...can you imagine a bigger and faster opponent at 147 who campaigned at 154?

i dunno. i think floyd better tread carefully. i don't think vernon took more out of shane that you think. i think it was a combination of managerial conflicts, change of style, weight lifting, and going against guys who used a style to thoughouly beat him.

The thing is Roy and Floyd are great and they make their opponents look bad. So then everybody they beat gets called a bum. Example Reggie Johnson...Roy Jones beat him...Reggie Johnson is a decent fighter. But after RJ dominated him people said that fight meant nothing and Johnson was a bum.
