They do fight similar, Rubio has the edge in power, but Chavez has the edge in combination punching and a "MUCH" Better Chin, it will a very even fight, but Chavez is very durable and Rubio doesn't have the activity to beat him on points.

The brother of Canelo a very limited fighter was at seconds of beating Rubio by KO in one of his last fights, that should tell a lot.

After Chavez beats Rubio, then in the summer of 2012 the most anticipated Mexicano vs Mexicano fight in the MW Division (the Martinez fight will not be made because by that time he may be challenging Bute for the SMW Ring Title) will be Chavez vs the mexican Next Super Star Gilberto "El Zurdo" Ramirez.
