Rubio waited survived the early fire, made an adjustment and landed some hard shots in the 6th and 7th knocking David down and nearly doing it again before his corner saved him.

Corner stopped it too soon IMO.

It wasn't like he was being completely battered. Took a solid shot to the ear that knocked him off balance, and his corner didn't even give him time to get it back.

He was slipping in the sixth.. Round finished and you would think he would bounce back but ended up getting dropped in the seventh.. He would of entered the following round with the same result.. The kids body language and face was telling the story.
