Well, I think it would depend on "which" Klitschko, the still green one who fought Lewis, ot the later, more defensively savvy Klitschko.

Klitschko would be 8 inches taller and 30 lbs heavier than Tyson, with a correspondingly longer reach. Tyson's terrific bobbing, weaving head moving etc whilst getting close enough to taller opponents so as to be able to hit them, would probably work against the earlier Klitschko, then we only need to figure out if he could punch up and hit him hard enough to drop and finish him. He'd probably have to go for the body most of the time but that would leave him open for a head attack, and Klitschko is one of the most accurate punchers I've ever seen. And I still remember Tyson's less than stellar performance against a good big man, Bonecrusher Smith. Klitschko is bigger and better than Bonecrusher, but, they fight differently, and "styles make fights".

If it was the later Klitschko, Tyson wouldn't be able to get close enough to him, and when he did, he'd be tied up right away.

O course it's boxing and anything can happen. Also peak Tyson is one of my top three or five of all time, so I guess my answer is that I can't guess.

My error, Klitschko would be 10 inches taller than Tyson.

Vitali all day. Tyson can't fight taller heavyweights who knows how to avoid punches in bunches. And Vitali can avoid Tyson's leaping hooks because he doesn't throw his chin out especially when the opponent is dangerous.

The only Tyson wins is with a body shot. He can cram himself all the way inside Vitali and start working the body. Then again Vitali's footwork will have to go overdrive. So, the fight is competitive since both sides will test each other out to the max unlike the Solis fight which did nothing for any Klitcho brothers.
