He thought he was ahead on the cards and overreacted to how hurt he was thinking he would get the cheap win.

In case you don't know, and it seems you don't, Cintron is a highly respected former welterweight champ who had 2 life and death KO fights with Margarito, when he was actually very good. Cintron is also very good but he sometimes throws it away by getting too much onto the "trenches" to battle it out, instead of boxing.

He is highly respected amongst boxing circles, and knowledgeable followers, of which you, unfortunately seem not to be one.

His recent fight against Williams, looked like a win all ther way, until he tripped over Williams leg and swan dived out of the ring. I don't think he was really hurt, so that he couldn't continue, but knew he had won the first 4 rds and tried to get the W by technical decision..

The ref was WRONG, when he thought that Cintron was hurt and couuldn't continue there and then, he should have given him a 5 min recovery break. That was the proper thing to do. Cintron outsmarted himself out of a win there. As yoy could see, when he saw that the ref had stopped it he protested that he could go on right there and then.

The ref was ****** and ruined what was turning out to be a good fight for Cintron and a huge upset.
What are you his friend? You basically just made it sound OK that he cried and faked an injury so he could get out of the fight with a cheap W.

If he was that confident in himself he would have finished the fight, but no he would have fallen apart the minute Williams turned up the heat.

And the guy is talented, but he doesn't have it all there emotionally to be a great fighter. He *****ed his way into a draw with Martinez, tried to ***** his way into a W against Williams. I picked him to upset Angulo, so I'm not even a hater like that. The guy is just annoying how much **** he talks about Berto, K9 and others when he has a history of ****ting his pants and making excuses in the ring.

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. That's what I thought was ment by the statement that I qouted. So being that it is confirmed. Whatever Cintron(As he's developed a history of such antics)is talkin bout hold no weight. There is nothing about those actions(in the ring nonetheless)that screams World Class Champion to me IMHO.

I admit he has behaved like a ***** in some of his fights but he has talent and guys like Berto and Bundrage are very winnable fights for him and these guys are not big enough to act like he isnt a big enough name for them. Say what you want about him and i could understand why most would root against him but he has fought Margs twice,Sergio Martinez,Paul Williams,Angulo and has been open to fights with Berto Cotto ect..

I cant tell you what he meant by the statement but thats my take on that situation. I agree with you to an extent and if guys like Martinez,Cotto,Pac and Mayweather said who the **** is Kermit i would agree but Bundrage lol no.

Oh no. Dont get me wrong Ny. Cintron is a very talented fighter. I believe that he has skill sets close to elite. He had good speed, damaging power, and good mechanics. But he is a mental midget, and has created some of the most painfully, unbareable to watch, melodramatic monkey ***** moments in what could have been FOTY matches. I cant and will not give Cintron a pass for being a blatent, cheating, crybaby ass whiner.

Look at it like this my homie. We Boxing fans will give a Boxer tons of credit based purely off the heart they show. Sometimes heart for us makes up for skill, but you can have all the skill in the world and no heart. For us Boxing fans, we would rather see you drop some of that skill and replace it with grit, determination, and intestinal fortitude. Am I not right?

I agree he has shown himself to be a mental midget in some of his fights and i understand why most people would root against him. The thing that i dont like is when people act like guys like Bundrage who have never proven anything are levels above Cintron who is clearly more talented and has been in much tougher.

Calling Bundrage a "1 hit wonder" is actually a compliment.

I agree. I dont think K9 has any room to talk as of now as well. I would really like to see Cintron in with El Perro again, before I see him in with anybody else(Including PWill).
