    Should Morales face Chávez again?

    Now that Chávez has the coveted lightweight belt, Morales might want to fight him again. After all, Morales already beat Chávez. I think that this is the perfect fight for Morales to regain his stature and become a 4 division titlist.

    Don't be jerks and give some opinions. This fight is the perfect way to resurrect Morales right now.

      Dude i just saw the Chavez's fight with Johnson... he looked like a beast.. his handspeed looked quicker than when he fought Morales too. He was sharper and his punches had more heft than when he fought Hernandez too.

      It might have been the opponent.. but he looked real good.

        I think that only two fights make sense for Morales if he stays at 135. Either he rematches Chávez for his title or he takes a superfight against Acelino Freitas. If he does not take those fights then he should drop and stay at 130.

          The only reason why this fight makes sense is so Morales can finish up saying that he was a 4 division titlist. For the fans, I don't know what Morales proves by beating a guy he already beat, but in a division 5 pounds north. I know Chavez went one arm down in the first fight, but I don't see a second fight at lightweight going all that differently. If Morales goes to lightweight he ought to fight someone else

              hmm

              Chavez is almost as big as Morales and would have beaten him the first time had he not injured himself badly. Even with the injury he was giving Morales hell. I've always said Chavez would win otherwise, and he will, if they fight.

                although morales beat chavez, he did with chavez only having one arm for nearly all of the fight, even though morales knocked him down twice before his injury. the fight could have turned out different but i guess we will never no.... unless they fight again. but will golden boy and top rank do business again?? and will golden boy want to give morales the opportunity of becoming a 4th weight title champion??

                    ======================

                    Morales is on his last legs. First off, he's not likely to last the distance against Pac unless Pac cuts. 2nd, Beating a one armed Chavez wasn't easy for him. He only outlanded Chavez by 50 punches. Morales is an example of a great fighter in denial. His game has been taking punches and dishing out punishment. He's taken enough punches that he has become ripe for the plucking, which is what Raheem did and likely Pac and Chavez too.

                    He should retire after Pac, win, lose or draw. His window is closing.
