The Navy was making over 80 millions a year,renting vieques to other countries.Vieques got 0. Just bombs, contamination,deseases,and death. It's only natural that the black puerto ricans will feel the need to voice their pride and sense of being perceived by the whiter ricans as "ricans." This is not a testament to who ALL Puerto Ricans are, but a testament to how some darker Ricans feel about not being perceived as Rican too.

The reality is some Ricans are black, some are white some are mixed. The overwhelming majority of Ricans are White, mestizo and to a lesser degree blacks. Experts all agree that most Ricans are NOT black in fact the black ricans make up 20% at best. Read a book Mongol.
