Comments Thread For: Khan vs McCloskey Moved From PPV To Sky Sports 3

Amir Khan's homecoming fight against Derry's Paul McCloskey at the MEN Arena, Manchester on April 16 has now been moved from PPV to Sky Sports 3. Sky have updated their schedules to reflect the change and have made the decision after the bill fell apart in recent weeks. Tyson Fury was said to be taking on Hasim Rahman in a bid to shore up the bill only for Rahman's trainer, Eddie Mustafa Muhammad to pull the plug on the heavyweight clash, which joins Anthony Crolla versus Gavin Rees on the cutting room floor.

      Good.

Hopefully this will teach promoters that £14.99 should buy three top quality fights, and not just one.

Haha, excellent. It was never a Box Office fight. I have cable so I still don't get Sky Sports 3 in HD, though.

Good! PPV should be for special, unmissable events only.
