Salido went 12 with Gamboa so a ko by Juanma would be a statement.

If he ko's him, people will say Gamboa soften him up. But that can also be said with Matagwa, who took a beating eventhough in the last 2 rds he flurried, but Gamboa took him out in four. The only statement it will make is that styles makes fights. and that these two instead of fighting eachother, prefer to fight eachothers leftovers

Gamboa actually took out Mtagwa in two. You're probably getting it mixed up with the Solis fight, which did take four. He was massively dominate in both fights. That aside, I agree with what you say about the leftovers, but I don't think it is up to them really.

I agree it would make a statement just like the Mtagwa win did for Gamboa but in reality doesn't mean anything when it comes to the result of a potential juanma gamboa fight.
