Comments Thread For: Jose Pedraza Returns on June 11 in New York, ESPN?

Undefeated junior lightweight Jose Pedraza will make his third professional fight on June 11 in New York. The fight will be a six round contest which is possibly going to air on ESPN. Pedraza (2-0 and two knockouts) is managed by a trio of promoters consisting of Lou DiBella and Gary Shaw and Javier Bustillo, who also paired up to sign the hard-hitting junior lightweight Kenny Galarza (14-1 and 14 Ko's).

I have been saying for quite some time that PR boxing is going to rise to a whole new level thanks to kids that grew up during "Tito-mania" and Pedraza, Jonathan Gonzalez, McWilliams, Luis Cruz et are all part of this crop Lets see if the cream of this crop can rise to dominance. They def. are talented.

We'll probably see something similiar coming from the Phillipines thanks to Pac.

Hopefully its true about Pedraza being on Espn, which makes sense considering that he was on the cover of Espn deportes magazine...

That's nice, good for him. He was a very good amateur, but I still don't see anything special in him.

the best news is that pedraza is being managed by ppl who are on the top of the game with connections they will put him on the spotlight whenever they have a chance ... they know they have a gem in Pedraza and Im glad that Di'Bella and Shaw are going to help to develop this kid.....

ps. Also i hate that PR Best Boxing usually signs all the good prospects here.. so its time for javier to finally have a real contender in his stable...
