I'm going out tonight to watch the fights at a club, but here's some early results from Las Vegas.


In an IBF jr welterweight eliminator, Naoufel Ben Rabah (24-1, 13 KOs) defeated Arturo Morua (22-7-1, 13 KOs) by twelve round unanimous decision. Morua was on the deck in rounds nine and twelve. Ben Rabah prevailed 118-108, 119-107, 116-110.

Jr featherweight Abner Mares (6-0, 5 KOs) dropped Selso Bosquez (3-1, 2 KOs) in round one, and finished him off at 2:45 of round four.

Jr. lightweight Vicente Escobedo (7-0, 7 KOs) dropped Gregory Piper (7-4, 3 KOs) once in round one and three times in round two before the bout was mercifully halted at 1:49 of round two.
