Martinez was bumped up to Champion Emeritus so Chavez Jr can fight for his belt. The WBA is considering bumping Haye up to super-champion so Povetkin and (some bum) can fight for his belt. Now i hear Khan is being bumped up to super-champion so Maidana-Morales' winner gets a belt?

Fuck this ****, it needs to stop. Giving a belt and title to the #1 challenger is bad enough.

Pretty soon you're going to need to win eight belts just to be the WBA, WBC, IBF, and WBO champ, and that's with all the #1 challengers still wearing belts as well.

So if all goes to plan; the winner of Bradley-Alexander will not be undisputed, because another guy will still be holding the "regular" WBA title in their division, and Wladimir, having finally won the WBA strap, will still have another guy out there running around with a WBA heavyweight world title.

Hats off to Floyd for that, but remember Floyd was adamant about grabbing the belts up too when he needed them. For a lot of young guys and dangerous guys without a large fanbase that belt is what gets them fights.

Like the guys on boxing truth were saying a few months ago; the Lakers don't have to pay a sanctioning fee or give up 3% of their profits to win the trophy.

in regards to floyd not paying sanctioning fees, that is one of the very few things i agree with what floyd does...... he's a 100% right on not paying those crooks to fight for a trinket. all the while they provide nothing and weasel more money from the fighters....
