Big nosed Arum didnt voice any concern while promoting Manny's latest mismatches, I mean he didnt have an issue with matching Manny against a 40 year old soon to be, Mosley.
He might not like Golden Boy making "big" (or small) bucks for any fight, even one as bad as this, but I don't think it's that preposterous for anybody to say this fight IS an accident waiting to happen. I hope you're just in a I-Hate-Arum mood, and not actually trying to justify this bull**** of a fight.

the only way erik morales wins this fight is if its rigged for him to win.

That's the only possibility. Amir Khan, a huge 140 pounder, young, fast, & talented could barely survive maidana, wtf is morales suppose to do?

hope he leaves with all faculties intact.
Yeah. Except then he would def. fight again. I hope its as quick and painless as possible.

i don't see erik getting hurt on this fight....maidana is a heavy puncher but boxing is not all about hard punches..remember, erik is a living legend.

the long lay-off of erik could have rejuvenated him, his last fights don't look impressive because he was just shaking off the rusts. 'am expecting to see erik on his prime again with his fighting intelligence and game plans execution. body punches might do the trick to slow down maidana..

              WAARRRR ERIK!!!!

Since he has lost to JMM and Amir Khan and only beaten four guys with a combined record of 67 wins and 32 losses. If Arum wasn't a complete scumbag and cared at all, he wouldn't put Barrera in with Brandon Rios, who could seriously hurt him too..
You don't make much sense. Barrera has far more left than Morales. if Arum was the "scumbag" you accuse him of being, why would he have stopped giving Morales any more fights when Morales told him that he had a ringing in his head. That was about 4-5 years ago too and I remember it. That was exactly what Arum did. I think he cancelled his contract on medical grounds when Morales wanted to fight on. Refused to allow him to fight any more. Didn't Morales then retire??

What about the old time top Rank fighters that Arum supports with living and medical expenses, with no obligation to do so?? The scumbag probably wante to make them "comeback" to squeeze them of their last drop of blood...... that scumbag......

                You're a ..............

You're dreaming. Poor Morales' legs and chin were badly gone when Arum made him quit fighting years ago. How could he be better now. You never get your legs back. The first SOLID punch he receives will shake him right down to his boots. He should have stayed retired like Arum wanted him to.

I think you must be making a mistake. Arum does not have a big nose, we see loads of pictures of him just about every day and it seems that you see something which actually isn't there.

Maybe you just don't like him (although I'm sure you don't know him at all) and really like Oscar. Well, there's no accounting for taste.

Myself, although I liked Oscar as a fighter, I do not like him at all as a person. I don't mind saying it clearly. And I don't need to say anything about his wide mouth, with his phony smile, or huge square jaw which, to me sometimes look quite odd.

And I don't mind how much money he has, or makes.........

By the way, Mosley still has quite a bit left as a fighter, and is not "shot" like Morales, nor as much on the downgrade as Barrera. He won't win, might lose quite badly in fact, but, as you say he's 39, and he's won a lot more than his share of good fights.
