No mention of Mosley (who's going on 40 and hasn't won a fight in over 2 years)?

I am surprised he didn't mention Mosley. Unless he is praising a Puerto Rican fighter (Cotto, Juanma, Calderon, etc.), everything he posts is almost always negative. The guy just cannot be a true boxing fan and like anybody or have anything positive to say unless they are Puerto Rican. I like to watch Cotto and Juanma fight, but I also like to watch other fighters and don't care where they are from. If I like their style of fighting, then I will watch, it's as simple as that.

Yes, the guy is fun to watch. He may not become the next great thing like GBP wants you to think but I think it will be fun to see where he goes from here. People seem to hate on Canelo and I don't know why. GBP are just playing the game like all promoters do (Top Rank, Don King, etc.) and although I don't view him as a 'world champion', a fight and win against Rhodes will prove he's earned it (I look at Canelo vs. Rhodes as the real fight for the vacant title)...

I also like JMM, Pacquiao (although not thrilled with recent choice of opponents), Martinez, Katsidis, Rios, Maidana, Bradley, Segura, Paul Williams, etc. and fast becoming a fan of David Lemieux. Haven't seen him fight yet on broadcast TV (how he went under my radar is beyond me) but after watching him on youtube flattening guys right and left, the guy is made for TV exposure and won't miss Fridays fight against Rubio...

And, just one quick note. As much as I would like to see Morales, Barrera, Jones Jr, Holyfield and any other over the hill/shot fighter retire, I don't feel we have the right to tell them to stop. I don't agree that they are killing the sport like some feel. Hey, if people pay to see Morales vs. Maidana, Barrera vs. Rios, Holyfield vs. Nielsen, etc. and they make money and hopefully nobody gets hurt, good for them. And if you don't want to watch, you don't have to, you have a choice. Plus, fighters are grown men who know the risks and can make their own decisions but the only way they will stop is when people stop paying to see them fight. I like those fighters but won't pay for those PPVs above (I am unemployed which makes it an easy decision) however I do really want to see Guerrero vs. Katsidis. That would be a great HBO fight but oh well, you can't win them all...

I see pride being one of the things making him want to not retire on a bad note, and you're asking him to retire, here? Come on people...

If it was not for crooked judging in Germany he would be defending his WBO title he beat Huck for instead of this trash.

It is his life, and his job. His choice. Having said that, of course he needs to be more careful these days, and thing also of his family and those dear to him. Hope nothing terrible happens.
