theres not that many excuses being made as to when Juanma beat Rafa, trust me, just like Mexicans have 149Mil more people then us to provide for boxing, they can provide to talk shiat on the internet, i think u might b one....

what everybody is so baffled about how how all the Mexicans are complaining about the Marquez-Juanma, Vazquez-Arce, which are evenly matched in height, reach weight.....

And want to give so much credit to a guy thats fought 6 fights at 115! and won! fights at 112, and won!! why does he keep going down in weight, cuz its easier to fight smaller people or what? He beat a 10 year champ, hey cong****, but I don't see how people want to ***** about the other fights when Segura, same size as cazares, has more power, and has fought at weights that Cazares is now champion in....

    No hate, i'm just sayin....

Yeah the difference is rafa marquez and arce had all taken beatings and had many losses going into there fights rafa fights vs izzy would have retired the average boxer calderon on the other hand had 0 losses was the champ and favored to win when segura stoped him Big difference

the difference is that Arce and Rafa have balls to fight bigger guys, BIG DIFFERENCE, and thos eare Competitive fights believe it or not, look at Juanma was almost KO'd, and Arce always has a chance with great boxing ability and experience over Vazquez, 2 grea great mexican fighters going for big title fights in higher divisions wich is the norm really, not a big strong powerful guy that started his career at 115 and kept fighting at 112 and coming down to 108 to claim to belts u know, like I said no hate, Its just ugly to me...

No matter if Calderon was from damn Panama I would've said the same thing....

As much as I think he should retire, I wouldnt be surprised to see Iron Boy pull off a big win at 105. Thats about it, though, he isnt gonna last another "couple years" without getting himself hurt. Homeboy is old.

I see nothing wrong with what Calderon did. Just to even go for the rematch was a lot. He's not making excuses. The bottom line is, Segura is just too damn big and Calderon is now 36 years old. You can't ignore that. People, especially a lot of Mexican fans, want to give him ***** for quitting, and it's ridiculous. I mean look at Arguello, Morales, Rafa and Ortiz. When a fighter has had enough, he's had enough. Don't bash him. Calderon is one of the best pure boxers of our generation and deserves respect. The people who talk ***** on him have probably never boxed a day in their lives. Step in the ring with Calderon once and see how ****** you look.

so somehow Arce is not a great 3 division Mexican champ now? if he beats Vazquez, I guarantee u wont be saying that he isn't bro, stop thinking like a dummy...

You're right Vazquez is rated 10th by the ring, but he's a WBO champ and guess who's rated #1 at the wbo? ARCE, so guess what fights needs to happen for the WBO championship? get back at me...

why are you ducking my question? and as far as it being competitive while it lasted, Rafa still packs a punch but he is still shot. Anyone who has followed his career would know this.
