Prime Roy Jones explains how to get a fight with him..how Bernard ducked..

    1:48 and on.

This is before his fight with Woods in 2002 I believe.

    He goes over:

    1. How to get a fight with him in his prime: Become the number 1 contender for his title (Tarver did this and got a fight....other fighters did not).

    2. How Bernard avoided him. I like Hopkins but always felt like he knew to wait around till Jones got too old and shot. Hopkins in the Jones 2 fight was an embarrasment to his own legacy by taking that fight and the antics during that fight.

Roy pretty much lays it out here and it a lot of it makes sense.

LOL. Woods is more of a man than Calzaghe will ever be.

He had the balls to come to Portland to fight Jones. (PS because you are very ****** I will alert you that Portland is nowhere near Jones' hometown).

He fought Glen Johnson more than once. You know? That guy that Joe ducked multiple times?

LOL. Woods > Calzaghe in the: Heart, pride, being a man categories.

        Good post
Hopkins did himself no favors in that fight. I agree that Hopkins basically waited around for Jones to fall off before taking the fight and even then he fought like a scared fighter

Getting brutally KOed for maybe 10 minutes on the mat probably tends to do that lol

Calzaghe slapped him back down to earth.

Cowardzaghe was too busy running from a Bhop rematch. He had to find the next corpse to fight.

Somehow thought the coward couldn't KO him. But the guy JOe ducked did (and years earlier I might add). Interesting.
