marquez is a better fighter than pacquiao, period. pac is just steroid up to be stronger. no way pac gets his sissy ass in the ring with mayweather. the lawsuit is the ultimate ducking solution for pacquiao.

You got proof, Floyd boy? This guy comes out of his trailer to talk trash then runs back in and hides...

I think marquez won the second fight.
The first one I agree with Lederman, yes Marquez dominated more rounds but the 3 knockdowns ruined his points.

That fight was even by about round 8-9, Sugar got it right.

Gotta love some bert sugar. That guy and merchant could talk all night and I'd never fall asleep. I disagree with what he said about the first two fights but that's all good. Both fights were close as ****, jmm took the majority of the rounds but getting knocked on ur ass counts just like rounds do. I had pac in the first one for sure, the second one I had closer. Anyway that said, a trilogy at this point is kinda pointless, it'd be over in 4 rounds and jmm would get a beating he doesn't deserve at this point in his career. I'd still buy it, I'd still watch it, I'd just rather watch pac go after a young stud like berto or bradley before he cake walks another dude.

I still like Sugar, but I will be honest with you..... even though I am about to dispute your viewpoint regarding the Pac/JMM fights, I do not agree with everything that Bert Sugar says. But, he is a legend, and HOF'er, so.....

A knockdown is worth 1 point, exactly the same as a round, and should NEVER be regarded any higher, nor adjudged to have had any more of an impact on a fight. A KD is worth 1 point, and that's it.

The second fight was very close, I had Marquez by two points in the first.

In the first fight, Manny knocked Marquez down 3 times in the first round, and broke his nose..... and yet STILL couldn't beat him.....

That fight was even by about round 8-9, and Marquez closed the show, something he did not do as well in the second fight.

But I thought Marquez won that fight as well, as did most observers.

The look on Manny's face before the winner was announced spoke volumes.

It's all good, we can agree to disagree on who won which fight. I agree with everything else u posted, though.

It was a fair face off but too much respect by both fighters to each other. I don't think either fighter is scared of each other, but before the face off Ortiz did intimidate Floyd but after this face off its clear from now on we may be seeing the Floyd of old. In other words after this face off Floyd is not as intimidated as he was before this face off. I belive Ortiz gave Floyd way too much respect by smiling too much. Floyd is definetly trying his hardest not to piss off Ortiz, but that may go out the window after this face off.

I think Ortiz is too young vs Floyd but in boxing guys like Ortiz find a way to win.
