Chavez does some funny ass commentary on TV Azteca sometimes he just talks **** about fighters lol i remeber he got mad at soto for whupping on a guy from his hometown

He was always drinking during his sons boxing matches. He yelled, screamed and acted as Jr's corner man from the first row. Chavez JR told his dad not to drink at his fights or not to come at all.

As one of Capetiello's fighters, you can't say too much negative about Chavez. The one thing I never liked about him was how he dealt with this losses. He was a bit of a primadonna when he lost. Shoving people, taking credit from his opponents, blaming the ref, the judges the Doctors. Other than that, the guy was a born fighter. I am not too thrilled about the Capetiello connection I will admit.

He is Mexico's ATG!! Did anyone see his ESPN documentary?? I felt sorry for him at the end of his career, IMO he stuck around a little to long and tarnished his legacy a little!!!!

This is true. His passion for fighting would not let him retire when he should have.

Muhammad Ali, Joe Lous, Sugar Ray Robinson, Archi moore...they all STUCK AROUND a little to long...It did not take away nothing from their legacy...
