Nights you just CANNOT take away from that fighter...

I just want to see a list of fight nights that you just cannot take away from a particular fighter no matter whether he lived up to his potential or not later in his career...

the Mosley/DLH replay last night kind of triggered this...very close fight, but that was the Mosley I missed...in against what seemed to be a bigger DLH...Mosley took some and gave some...he was so confident at this time and stepped up for the big fight vs a prime DLH who before then only lost a controversial decision to Trinidad...DLH wasn't battle worn or anything...it was prime vs prime...practically undefeated vs undefeated...

De La Hoya vs Mosley 1, was one of the most complete performances I've ever seen from a boxer... And not to take anything away from Oscar De La Hoya's performance that night it was excellent, But Mosley showed boxing skills to there purest.

It was a great night for boxing!

Yeah Mosley fought brilliantly in the first fight. I though he won hands down. The second fight was another story and I feel he robbed DLH big time.

Taylor fought like a god for the majority of the fight...

There's just too many. Even in losing performances. I like seeing when a fighter has all the odds against him in danger of being stopped and gives a final push and throws everything he has...one that comes to mind is Mayweather/N'Dou

When Mosley beat DLH the first time, that was the most complete performance i've seen from a boxer in a long time. He demonstrated his speed, his power, how he could box on the outside, and also the inside.

I hope we see the Mosley of that time in the 147 division.

I do have to disagree with that... Phillipe "the pudding" N'Dou was brought in to make Mayweather look good. He wasn't World class, never was before and has never been since.

He tried... Yeah, but the match making was a little poor.
