Louis vs. Schmelling was probably one of the most important/biggest matches.

IMHO its the fight that was in the phillipines in 1975...

but i don't know if you would call it the "biggest" fight in boxing history.. but its up there

Thrilla in Manila, thats that. prolly there is not a single biggest fight, it can be classified as biggest fight of the decade or something.

That doesn't mean is was the biggest.

The biggest fight of all time I'd have to say was Louis-Schmeling. You just can't beat that. Next biggest is Ali-Frazier 1.
