Especially since everyone who bought the fight paid $40 (in the U.S.) to see it. It's almost like he knew he couldn't win and just mailed it in for a paycheck. At least in the last fight he dished out some punishment before submitting...

I agree, its true idiot fans that never boxed and don't have respect for boxers that say these things. Calderon has been the best fighter to come out of PR since Tito. No dissrespect to cotto but Calderon has been the man.

There's always a young fighter that comes up. Nothing to be ashamed for Calderon. He's been a great champ.

Keep it perspective. Mexico won this Saturday. Just like Juanma mad Rafa submit a few months back. It happens. Remember the talk from Mexicans about Rafa being old and past prime? This young lion whooping the old champ plays itself over every single time. From Ali down to Chavez. Now we set our sites on JuanMa V Rafa II and Cotto V Margo II.

no doubt rafa quit and there aint no shame on calderon not getting up or "taking a knee" after those body shots. But remember that rafa moved up in weight and is already shot as shit, I even knew he wasn't going to win that fight.
