They will negotiate a significantly reduced figure, just like last time.

And next year..... rinse, wash, repeat.

Dude, this is AT LEAST the third time that the IRS has filed a lien on Mayweather.

      Coincidence?

But you think that Mayweather actually forgot to pay his taxes..... AGAIN?

      Please.....

Come on man, you can't be that silly, surely.

It's called playing the game. Taxes are simply borderline theft, those who are in a position to play the system to their advantage, do so without hesitation.

Yeah that's right man, Floyd " forgot "..... AGAIN !!

Stop the May-bash and smarten up you guys

You wish you all had a $3mil tax bill

Who the *** is ****** enough to think that.....
1.) Mayweather does not have an accountant
      2.) Mayweather's accountant " forgot " to pay his 2009 tax bill

      Dumbarses.

So Mayweather has a GOOD accountant giving him good advice or simply Mayweather has himself to blame?

He dosen't have the money if he did he would have payed the bill. How many millionaires are in sports and entertainment? Only a few get hit with tax leins. Why??? Because they don't pay their taxes. Simple and Plain! There is no conspiracy and Floyd is not hanging on to the money for a rainy day. This is just a classic case of a foolish out of control individual. We don't hear about DLH or Mosley or Berto or Williams not paying their taxes. You act silly and reckless and spend the same way, this is what happens....
it's true, i invest in tax liens certificates and tax deeds, and they usually give you a year, sometimes two to pay them.

although, you would be surprised at how many celebs and the rich have tax liens on them because of trusting someone else to pay their bills, but believe me, a responsible person, especially a rich one, once they find out that they have an lien and it's been bought, they PAY THAT BILL IMMEDIATELY. mainly they don't want someone else owning their stuff but also, they don't want word getting out that they have liens slapped on them.....

saying this is for promotion or this is what real business people do is a joke at best........... these comments are faceless or are right out of a useless book about being a lazy business person..........

dont' front run and defend floyd's antics, realize the guy is a fugazi....... get out of the dream world yall.

          Floyd is completely broke!

Poor dude had to sell his Maybach.

ANd there is an excellent chance he is going to jail. Dumb ass deserves this.

I wouldn't be suprised if the IRS send him another tax bill for his sports bet winnings.

So now *****s think that Mayweather is the king of taxes and this is a tax game that he and his accoutants know how to play better than ALL the other millionaires. Floyd and his accountants are smarter than Bill Gates and his or Brad Pitts and his and all the other rich famous people who play the tax game without having leins placed on them... Mayweather and his accountants know better than every other millionaire who doesn't have leins on them??? RIGHT!!!! If this was some great plan wouldn't at least 30% or 20% or at least 10% of other millionaires be playing the same game???

"its called playing the game".... HAHAH priceless. typical of a floyd fanboy to praise delinquency.

the sports world is full of successful african american athletes... only a handful arent grown-up enough to handle business like an adult. if he really was playing the "game" well, he wouldnt be getting pursued by the IRS... i guess wesley snipes is a master of the "game" too... tax evasion is for the BIG BOYS. LOL. clearly floyd cant stack his chips without getting caught.

so you guys cant play the victim card on this one... this is pure FAIL.

mayweathers are the one's choosing not to fight twice a year since they dont want to lose more money to taxes (on record). so apparently, money IS an issue & it doesnt flow like wine like they want us to believe.

time to write up that tune-up bout for lil floyd

Exactly. It's good to pay that interest and penalty. Unless Mayweather has the SAME accountants as GE, I don't think it's a good financial planning.

BTW, GE got 900+ accounts and filed some 24 THOUSAND pages on return. Hope IRS will get some TEAM to read that.
