I'm pretty sure most people who have CBS have "Cable". You kinda have to if you want to watch tv.Keep in mind you can't order PPV without cable so that extra audience they are getting is not a market that is really going to buy the fight~
Also someone who buys HBO is more likely to spend on a sporting even, some cat watching CBS probably doesn't like to pay high prices for tv programming~
I am sure the fight will do fine but I doubt this really matters.Comment

Look it up there is a still a large percentage of people who do not have cable, and CBS is still free. So a large percent of that HUGE extra audience is meaningless in terms of buying the fight.
More eyeballs is good though because people could get talking.Comment

How do they watch it for free if they don't have cable though? I'm confused? Lot's of channels are free, but you still have to go through a cable provider to access them.Comment

Don't see how when it's in such a prime time slot as 12pm, right after a magic bullet infomercial.Comment

Ya, that's true for local channels, but the majority of the 115 million viewers aren't doing that.
I think it will help. Everyone knows who Pac is, and are interested in the first place. This will help quite a few people get that little bit more interested to buy the fight.Comment
