    Fights for the WBC, WBO, WBA and IBF should be 15 rounders..

    A partial return to the old school method of bouts, would be a great move for boxing ...

    I think that Lineal title fights should be 15, paper titles and title eliminators should be 12 and non-titles should be 10 >. 15 rounds just isn't going to happen, though. It's too dangerous.

      I think 13 is a good number...would pretty much eliminate draws

              I don't agree, 12 rounds are enough to exhibit superiority of one fighter over the other. One might just as easily say why not 20 rounders, or, like in thenbad old days, 46 rounders, or, just a "fight to a finish" Last man standing....etc.

              12 rounds are ENOUGH. If you want to see another man suffer, go to a movie.

                I wouldn't mind 15 rounders coming back.

                I'm skeptical on whether it was really changed for safety reasons anyway.

                Count me among those who feels it had to do with the fact that boxing was on network TV a lot back then, and 12 rounds + intros + interviews is easier to fit in 1 hour than 15 rounds is.
