Why did Jones Jr/Hopkins vs Benn/Eubank never happen?

It might seem like a silly question, and I can't be assed looking it up, but why not?

Adding to that who do you think would have won?

    Benn vs Hopkins?

    Benn vs Jones Jr?

    Eubank vs Hopkins?

Because Eubank and Benn and the like probably wouldn't have went out of their way to call him out because before Hopkins even fought for a title he was an unknown contender. It wasn't because Hopkins was scared of them and vice versa. Why do people have to be so ****** and hate driven. I'm not saying the TS is. It just seems like when Hopkins gets slated for not fighting these guys people try to use that against him.

Jones should've fought all those guys but how hard did Benn and Eubank try to make the fights happen? That's another thing you gotta consider.

Jones vs Eubank woulda made for a killer match up, and as for Benn vs Hopkins, I can see Hopkins fighting terrified.

And then you could throw Steve Collins in to the mix.

Eubank was never the same after Watson II, sadly. That night changed more than one part of his fight-game irreversibly.

But neither Eubank at his best nor a Nigel Benn at any relevant point in his career is easy work for either of Hopkins or Jones Jr. Dead that myth.

If the Jones fight had happened for Benn after McClellan, Roy would've wrecked him, but Nigel spent everything he had left in the ring with G-Man.
