U dont know a damn thing about sports & nutrition so don't even try. When you're training as hard as these athletes do, burn as much calories, and have as fast of a metabolism as they do, you'd understand why they need 7000 calories. Especially when you're trying to gain lean muscle mass.Comment

true true....Floyd eats alot too. He can get away with eating junk because he needs the energy. This could be a key reason Floyd and Manny have better stamina than these other guys, they are actually eating during training camp.
Also Michael Phelps was taking in an astonishing amount of calories in the lead up and during the Olympics. Actually it was btw 10,000-12,000 a day. He was shovelling big macs, pizzas and pretty much everything into his mouth. Bottom line is that you need carbs to perform. That's why the best meal the night before a fight OR a game or whatever is spaghetti bolognaise.......but hey, if you can't eat because you won't make weight ofcourse anyone who can eat is going to be in an advantageous position IMHO.Comment
