Two-time former world champion Lakva Sim scored a twelfth round TKO over game but outgunned hometown hero Ebo Elder in a WBA lightweight eliminator Friday night at The Arena at Gwinnett Center in Duluth, Georgia. Sim dropped Elder in rounds three, six, eleven and twice in round twelve before the bout was stopped at :44. With the win, Sim earned a title shot against WBA champ Juan Diaz.

Those combos Baby Bull was landing were ridiculous. If Sim wasn't a tank, he would have been toast early in that fight. Diaz went to town with combinations starting downstairs and moving upstairs.

The way Diaz fights. He is a legitimate threat to beat anyone in the lightweight division.
