Comments Thread For: Hank Lundy Continues His Rebound Push at Foxwoods

The road to contention is never easy, a lesson 27-year old Lightweight Henry "Hank" Lundy (20-1-1, 10 KO) of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, learned in his first defeat two fights ago and a lesson he’s appeared to learn from in a pair of victories since. Showing speed, skill, and discipline, Lundy scored an early knockdown and never lost his lead against game 33-year old Venezuelan Patrick Lopez (20-4, 12 KO) of Londonderry, New Hampshire, over ten rounds on Friday night at the Foxwoods Hotel and Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut.

Yea, good night of fights overall. Lundy vs Lopez was a pretty good one. Lundy looked quick, fought southpaw most of the fight, and was countering effectively, choosing his punches well enough to win a decision, which I agreed with. Lopez was firing off shots, had a little trouble catching Lundy clean a little bit. Also got knocked down by a really nice Lundy left hand in round two.

Overall a good fight, Lundy looked impressive to me. I'll be lookin forward to his next fight.

Solid fight. Hank started to fade a bit in the middle to late rounds. He was wise to pick it up in the final round, although it looks like he would've won a split decision anyway. (One of the judges had the bout 95-94.)

Yeah I agree great night of fights, Lundy looked more mature and used his entire arsenal in this fight. I had Lundry winning a UD but the one judge who only gave 1 round to Lopez should be banned.

Hank Lundy vs Mercito Gesta should be the next fight. Winner gets Brandon Ríos.

Lundy has amazing boxing skills and the speed and quickness to go with it

he has to improve that stamina though, if he can get that Stamina fixed...HE CAN GO VERY FAR!

That was a good fight.Lopez started to make a comeback against Lundy in the later rounds. If that fight was a 12 rounder he might of won those and made it harder to judge.
