Seriously. Robert Guerrero and Zab Judah while Morales takes on Marcos Maidana and Barrera is probably gonna fight Brandon Rios? I say even if JMM wins a fourth belt off of Judah, if Barrera or Morales win either of those fights or if a miracle happens and Morales happens to beat Maidana and Barrera beats Rios at the same time they should both go down greater than JMM.

People keep saying Judah is this worthy opponent, but do people not remember how he was getting his ass handed to him by Lucas Matthyse? I think both JMM-Judah and JMM-Guerrero are mismatches. Not interested in any of those fights.

Take a chill pill. Nothing's set in stone yet. Marquez is all heart, in his heart he really wants Pac a 3rd time. I don't think he takes the offer. Especially if Kasditis KO's Robert like I'm hoping.

Then if he does take the Pac deal, win or lose he'll probably go back down to 135-140 and Maidana, Khan, or Rios will probably be his next fights. Even if they 2 of them are Golden boy, if Marquez loses, I'm sure Golden Boy would love using his name to promote Khan or Maidana. Which will be a mistake IMO.

I think JMM-Judah is an intriguing fight. Judah seems to be going through a revival and JMM is still top. JMM moving up again, after getting dominated the last time he moved up I think is cool

          1. Barrera (if he does fight rios) and Morales are not going to win.
          2. Marquez vs Guerrero would be the outcome of two things that cannot be blamed on Marquez,
          a) Guerrero beats Katsidis
          b) Guerrero becomes Marquez' mandatory fight.
          3. Marquez' lightweight career is much more impressive than Morales/Barrera.
          4. If Marquez re-signs with GBP you can't blame GBP boxers for not fighting against Top Rank's fighters.

Right. So I guess that's why he didn't fight Khan when it was offered to him. Barrera fought him in England. I'm just giving the reason why a lot of people respect Barrera and Morales more than JMM. And even though I think Khan is overrated, I think he's worlds better than Zab Judah is.

#4 is a good one. top rank wont allow any of there fighters fight against GB fighters. blame promoters...i dont think its fair that marquez has no choice but to go to top rank to get these fights (thats the problem with boxing).

you act as if marquez hasn't been taking any tough fights in the last few years. If he beats judah hes not going to retire, hes gonna try and make a statement in that division, hopefully by fighting the winner of bradley vs khan or even avenging morales's loss to maidana.
