Am told that Warriors Boxing today won a purse bid for the IBF 140 eliminator between Victor Cayo and Lamont Peterson for $25,000. Warriors was the only bidder, I am told.

Not necessarily. He could be facing Peterson on the FNF card if Peterson accepts the outcome of the purse bid.

Yes. Peterson has no other place to legitimately go and if he wins, he is in line for a title bout. It is a very winnable fight for him too and I believe worth taking.
