Sorry that Vitali isnt like Ali and he doesnt struggle with bums making HW bouts like Ali vs. Wepner exciting. I am sure Vitali wishes he wasnt so amazing and didnt have the ability to destroy anyone put in front of him.
    Good post.

Stiverne: has never beaten a top 100 HW
Welliver: has never beaten a top 100 HW
Molina: never beaten a top 100 HW
Banks: has never beaten a top 50 HW, horrible mismatch
Thompson: inactive, hasn't had a decent win since 2007, old

      JC Gomez: already fought Vitali
Solis: already fought Vitali and is injured
      Arreola: already fought Vitali
Why does it have to follow the WBC rankings?

Im not sure where he should be ranked, so ill look at the BoxRec rankings and he is ranked #63

Its kind of the equivilant of Mayweather facing Spadafora

No, it's very different. Lyakhovich has never been in prison, he's a former Olympian and WBO HW champion.

It's just a stay busy fight for Vitali, instead of waiting until September.

Mayweather hasn't fought in a year, Vitali fought in October and again in March.

Lyakhovich will put up a good fight and give him more rounds than Solis did. That's why Vitali wants to fight so soon: he needs to stay sharp.

If Lyakhovich was Vitali's ONLY opponent in a year, it would be different. But he's okay as a stay-active opponent.

I just read Lyakhovich's April 9 fight on the New Jersey card has been cancelled.

Looks like he'll be Vitali's opponent.

OK you just started comparing random things about them.

You know what i meant is that they are so far apart from eachother in every aspect and that it is simply a trash fight just like Floyd-Spadafora would be.

It would be nice to watch Vitali fight someone his size, for a change, and a worthy fight as well.

I am really rooting for names like M. Grant, Valuev and Dimitrenko. If not, then Chisora is OK.

                Who should he fight then?

I'd like to see Dimitrenko-Vitali, but he won't be available for June.

Dimitrenko is a ***** like Floyd who needs a long time between fights.

Michael Grant is no better a choice than Lyakhovich. He'd get destroyed in 2-3 rounds. Same with Valuev, that isn't even a competative fight in my opinion. Valuev could be done with boxing.

I'm a huge fan of the Klitschko brothers, but I kinda agree with this.

If he was fighting the 2006 Sergei, it would have been an awesome fight. But I think the fighter he is now, Vitali will steamroll him. He would have knocked the 2006 White Wolf out too though.
