Everyone talks about the 1st fight but not the 2nd because there is no ? marks over that one. Ain't like he fought Castillo twice and still there is doubt hanging over whether or not he could beat him like many others in the sport.
floyd lost that fight by at least by 3 rounds castillo punished hes body alot and by the 9,10,11,12 floyd was not moving he had to sit down on hes shots to hurt castillo cuz the guy was tired given the shots to the body which is understandable and going into the 11th & 12th round he had to KO castillo to win..didnt u hear roger telling lil floyd telling he had to KO castillo in the last round??!! what happened to floyd that fight was he was trying to cruise from the start and castillo caught up to him and led on points and it was a lil bit too late for jr to catch up

Actually when Mayweather fought Baldomir (who was the legitimate welterweight champion), he earned $8,000,001 to poke fun at Arum and Margarito. But hey, those are mere triflin facts that those of us who were actually following the sport back then remember instead off regurgitating things that we've heard from others who only started following the sport in the 2-3 years. Carry on.

As for Cotto, Mayweather attempted to fight him when they were at 140. Arum said Cotto was "too green", while simultaneously promoting him as th WBO champ in that division.

As for wanting to see Money hurt or have his career come to a screeching halt. You might want to praying for Mayweather-Martinez opposed to Mayweather-Pacquaio.

Regardless of who you thought won Mayweather-Castillo I, I think Money clearly established himself as the superior fighter in the rematch.

Personally, I've watched Mayweather-Castillo I several times and the closest I've been able to score it was 7-5 for Mayweather, which basically means that if someone else had it a draw or a 7-5 win for Castillo I wouldn't object because the fight had a lot of close rounds. Either way, I think that fight has taken on the nature of a lot of fights that have a massive favorite in that a lot of people feel like the underdog "won" simply because he performed a lot better than expected. Jones-Tarver I comes to mind, as does more recently Berto-Collazo.

This chump has no business pressing and folding Mayweather's underwears, let alone 'giving his take'.

              GTFO, Berto.

Of course Berto is gonna say you have to respect an undefeated fighter.

Translation (In the undefeated fighters mind): It doesn't matter who you fight as long as you keep that zero.

Birds of a feather, flock together. Berto knows in this business if he loses his 0 then his stock plummets. And that's too bad because the fans would rather see a good, hard fought fight then some of these undefeated fighters going in there and knocking out guys their supposed to look good against. I would have had more respect for Berto if he would have rematched Collazo and beat him convincingly the second go round (like Mayweather did Castillo) then for him to act like "Who is Collazo?". Yet he gets to cash in his million dollar pay check no matter who he fights. SMH. Better hang on to that "OH", Berto. Let the real warriors do the fighting.

com on bro really??!!!!....really??!! for every one or two floyd would land luie catches him once to the head goes down stairs and repeat this cycle over and over again until he needed a KO he was down like 3 rounds every close round castillo would connect more on jr than jr does on him cuz jr had to open hes guard cuz he had to come out of the shell and score points of hes own and thats when castillo started to score more and more ..but anyways this will b a useless argument whatever i say cuz u would pick jr anyways so i said my piece ..

You act as if Mayweather was soundly dominated and that this was one of the biggest robberies in boxing history. He landed the cleaner, showier punches. A lot of what Castille landed was on the arms and shoulders and when he landed upstairs, Mayweather rolled with a lot of the punches and took a lot of steam out of them. I sat and said it was a pretty even fight that could have gone either way. Regardless of who you think deserved the decision. I think my stance that it was a close fight that could have gone either way is a lot more accurate than the Money was dominated and Castillo was the victim of a this highway, Whitaker-Chavez type robbery picture that you're attempting to paint.

It amazes me that Floyd Mayweather has single handedly rendered the most important thing that happens in a boxing match (the result) meaningless in the minds in his critics. Its comical.
