It doesn't make sense otherwise because there is many other opponents out there which would make him better $ and that would look better on his resume. IF and ONLY IF this is really a tune-up for a Pac/Floyd fight then:

1. Both Pac and floyd jr have agreed to a fight already and floyd jr is preparing himself for it. otherwise, why would he go into a tune-up for a fight that would never happen?

OR

2. Floyd jr knows that this fight will NEVER happen and is only using this as an excuse to get more people to pay him for a crap fight for him to just go on another vacation afterwards.
