Its not an excuse its called an opinion. Its also a pretty commonly shared opinion people where doubting after the Marg fight if Cotto would be the same fighter he did nothing to prove he was. Or are you one of these guys who makes threads asking for opinions despite knowing all of the answers yourself anyway?

According to me you need to reread my post at stop drawing your own silly conclusions. It has nothing to do with who won that fight and everything to do with how much punishment Cotto took during the bout. Not to mention the likelihood of Marg using his plaster wraps. I have seen fighters take less punishment than Cotto did that night and never be the same again. Oh and for the record I'm not saying prime Cotto would have beat Pac I'm simply saying Cotto was no longer at his peak when Pac got to him.

I thought both were close, had Pac winning the first and as for the second fight. It could have gone both ways.

My 2 cents, according to many posters on boxingscene, every fighter with a L or a blemish on there record is a ruined boxer. So I guess Pac is also ruined as he's already got Ls.

          Peace out b!tches.

Cotto lost to Pac because Margarito ruined him

1 loss and the young dude is never the same

He's hanging by the rope, he's not yet down. its fair play.
you guys are dumb ****s. if he wasn't down yet why does the ref start the 10 sec count. i don't make up the rules. watch the fight and you will see. in the marquez vs barrera his gloves touch the ground and he is deducted a point becuase it was the right call to do, even tough the ref doesn't rule a knockdown. i suggest you know what your talking about before you start talking ****.
