Ring is no more credible then any of the ABC organization hell they scored the last two fights to Marquez and still kept Pacquiao rating the same
well clottey was ranked #5 i think best ww and people thought he beat cotto..and believe it or not but mosley was like ranked #3 or #2 ww (because floyd was still on "vacation") i think during the time pac fought him.

This. Ring has done this many times when their whole staff disagrees and the d is universally decried. Right call.

They often fail to change that date. It's updated with an article on it.

Why should the Ring acknowledge and legitimise such a farce?

Decisions are in danger of becoming like titles; just devalued to the point where I'm starting to think......why are we even giving a f-ck anymore about what 3 individuals who are heavily influenced state a result to be.

With titles, no-one really cares, we just want good fighters to duke it out. With decisions, it may be that if we continue on this trend, people might just say....well, they don't matter either, we just want good fighters to duke it out.

It would obviously be a bad situation but if the people in charge of boxing continue the neglect and short-termism, this is where we are heading.

So this is Ward talking. Not a casual fan, a Pac tard or a Marquez/Floyd Jr hater. What's the problem?

Normally, I would agree with this, but I'd prefer that the belt stays with Bradley. I like him having the burden of defending it not necessarily against Pacman but against Khan, Ortiz, Guerrero and Marquez. Since Marquez 4 will be Pac's next likely fight, Bradley had to make a choice among the fighters mentioned. Unfortunately, they're all GBP guys. That's the problem.

This is pretty debatable to be honest.

I agree with the Ring's decision on this one since it really was a horrible decision and this is near unanimous.

But now where do they draw the line? What if there is a similar robbery for other fighters? Will they do the same?

They have before and will again. It's decided subjectively and should have been done for Campillo-Cloud.
