what pacquiao did in the 3rd to an almost exclusive degree was miss.

tim landed a jab to the gut, he landed a couple hard right hands to pacquiao's head while he had pac's right arm tied up, he caught pac off balance in the center of the ring and knocked him back with a long left, he tied pac's right arm and landed a pair of rights to manny's ribs and head, and he landed a right hand to the body.
Say whatever you want, no way in the world you can make me believe Bradley actually won the 3rd round. By the way, even the judges gave the 3rd to Pacquiao.

        • While I don't agree with the decision at all....I like how this fight dispelled several notions.

          1. The lie that you can't win a decision over Pacquaio.

          2. Pacquiao fans are bandwagoners. I see the same crazy fans still here posting the same nonsense....even after the Morales loss, the Marquez III fiasco and now this loss.

Floyd is next....so I want to see how his fans react once his 0 is gone.

Also, Manny showed that he isn't past it and I hope that from this loss he will gain that fire that had him going for the kill.

You just can't leave it to the judges anymore and Manny really should try harder to put guys away. Besides his accuracy and timing being off.....that is the only knock on him as I feel he takes his foot off the brake and doesn't go for the kill anymore.

                i agree with you.

people are basically saying bradley's scoring blows were nothing and that pacquiao won because his blows were harder, meaning that none of the other scoring criteria matter because tim's punches were softer.

well, duh, we already knew pac hit harder. so why have a boxing match then? is there anything tim could have possibly hit pacquiao with that these guys would credit him for?

                  • Pac won, but i agree he took rounds off, like the last 3. Bradley didn't really do anything all to significant in those rounds, either...he tried and he landed some shots and he won those rounds in my opinion, but he won out of sheer activity [in those rounds], not because he actually landed a lot. So in that regard, I kind of agree, pacquiao gave those rounds away, and why is that? was he tired? cramps came back? lol. Some of it was due to Bradley fighting smarter, but it was ****in odd seeing pacquiao appear gassed, maybe that's just because of his style in correlation to his age - because I did think for the first 8 rounds or so some of that classic explosiveness was there for him often allowing him to catch a moving target (as opposed to the last 2 fights). I was initially against a rematch, but now I'd like to see it, but first marquez 4 in mexico...bradley can go fight bailey and collect a belt.

                    • Duane Ford: "Bradley Gave Pacquiao a Boxing Lesson"...This Isn't American Idol".....

Sorry if this has been posted already:

'Bradley gave Pacquiao a boxing lesson' - Judge defends scoring Bradley win
                      by Dennis "D Source" Guillermo

Las Vegas, NV - Duane Ford, one of two judges who scored the bout 115-113 for Timothy Bradley over Manny Pacquiao Saturday night, defended his scorecard in speaking with Steve Carp of the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

"I thought Bradley gave Pacquiao a boxing lesson,” said the 74-year-old boxing judge based in Las Vegas.

“This isn’t American Idol. If I judge for the people, I shouldn’t be a judge. I went in with a clear mind and judged each round,” Ford added in dismissing the massive backlash from the general public regarding Pacquiao's surprising loss.

Compubox statistics showed that Pacquiao landed 96 more punches, despite throwing less, connecting on more power punches and jabs at a more efficient rate. Unfortunately for Pacquiao, Ford does not care for such stats, nor were they available for the senior boxing judge while scoring the fight.

“I don’t look at the punch stats but I saw Manny miss a lot of punches and Bradley hit Manny and win a lot of the exchanges,” insisted Ford.
