  • He won't go back to #1 regardless IMO.

He lost his last fight and was saved by terrible judges, nothing he can do on saturday will put him back to the top.

Bradley is a better technical boxer than Pac.
That statement does not take away from Pac's wins ( catch weight, timing and match ups do that well enough)
Its simply saying Bradley will outbox, adapt and out think his opponent.

While Manny will use his speed, power and angles, and is willing to trade and overwhelm his opponents due to the fact he has a power and chin advantage over most opp.

If your gonna say Manny is a "better" boxer then please cite a fight where he outboxed his opponent.
      Define outboxing?

I consider boxing the ability to inflict more damage to your opponent than they do to you. In which case pretty much every fight Pac has had in the last 7 years he has outboxing his opponent.

      • Yea but he moves in and out in most fights. Just Margarito was a guy who Pac didn't wanna get hit by, he just did what any should do against Marg hit and move. Cotto learned the hard way.

I'll give you credit for citing the closet and only possible fight.

But you weren't suppose to answer lol wanted a casual fan too. You ruined it. Nah just playing.

If Manny comes out and says I'm not fighting Floyd because I can make then same money taking 2 easy catch weight fights, and I might lose to Floyd and not be able do 1mil ppv anymore. Do you think people will say "good business decision manny, way to go"?

          No they'll scream duck!!

Guys dont duck fights out of fear they do it because they don't want to risk losing and losing marketability. No one avoided a prime Tyson, people lined up to get destroyed by him because he was the cash cow. Didn't wanna fight Lennox though, because it's a hard fight for less money.

Bradley didn't have a Pac offer last July when he sat out of boxing rather than face Khan. business wise it was the right move no doubt, but the fact is, for all his talk about how he's gonna win this fight Tim Bradley wasn't sure if he could beat Amir Khan. He wasnt confident enough to bet a possible Pac fight on it anyway.
No, that's not true and in fact it's contradictory. And second, Richard Schafer said himself he believed a Khan fight wouldn't happen because Bradley was chasing after a Pacquiao fight which, in case you haven't noticed, he got. Get over yourself--you really do sound like that dumb **** Dirk. If Bradley was risk averse, he wouldn't fight Pacquiao at all; he'd turn the fight down and keep taking easy paydays. He's not. So the idea that he'd jump at the opportunity to fight Pacquiao and yet "duck" Khan makes no sense.

            That's Brawling.

What Mayweather, Broner, Bradley, Alexander, Roy Jones, Hopkins, Dawson, Martinez do is boxing

They box first, exploit weaknesses, and if the KO comes it does, they don't force it.

            • Manny was Brawling when Juan Manuel was boxing.

Brawlers can beat boxers without outboxing them, that's why they are great match ups.

              • For instance Cotto can outbox Manny, but succumbs to pressure and high work rate (see Marg fight)

Brawling is taking one to give one, Manny doesn't do that he hits his opponents a lot more than they hit him.(Marquez aside)

Theres many ways to outbox someone it's not the exclusive domain of defensive minded cautious counterpunchers. You can outbox someone 1000 punches to 500 or 10 to 5.

But manny only got the spot when floyd retired for a while. Since he's been back and beat JMM, shouldn't he get his spot back?
