ESPN should actually promote this fight a little. Show a few commercials or highlights in the week leading up. Lemiuex has some serious star power, and that place will be packed. You know how people are.... If they see thousands in attendance they will assume it's worth watching.

He should have been fighting solid comp when he was 15-0 like tons of fighters on ShoBox have. Fighting no-hopers is a joke. When he was 15-0 he fought a 3-7 fighter when unbeaten guys on ShoBox were fighting other 15-0 and 20-1 fighters. Rubio is shopworn, never beat an A level fighter. They picked him for a reason.

Star Power? That is only good when you have a plan B and you hit a guy with your best shots and nothing happens. ALL punchers have faced fighters where they waited for a guy to fall and that did not happen. But Rubio is shopworn. 30 years old but his body and face look 42.

              Lemieux's power is unreal.

Hopefully it holds up when he steps up in competition.

Lemieux needs to un-fraud himself. His whole career has been a setup to milk him in Canada, unlike guys on ShoBox who with HALF the fights as Lemieux, faced threats - guys like Chris Avalos, Chris Martin, James De La Rosa, etc who fought guys close to even in the odds or who were favored.

Looking forward to seeing David in the ring. Definitely has potential to be a big star, hopefully this power holds up with the big names.

Umm, he was like 20 years old at 15-0... I think he's being handled just fine. They pulled him out of the Ams early because his style didn't fit. Your talking about guys who are 24-27 years old with tons more Am exp.

Ya star power. He's already filling stadiums in Canada. You mad about something?

Read my first reply? And I must ask again. Are you mad?
