as long as they make some decent fights and a unification fights for marquez then i think its a good choice for marquez.....then again i could be wrong

JuanMa is probably bolting. He is looking for $$$ (5+ million) fight now. Looks like Bob is dangling Pac in front of JuanMa. I think a 3rd match at 147 is in the work. Kind of useless fight with JuanMa above 140 but he gets his payday.

marquez wont face guerrero,im sure katsidis will beat him to stop that.

marquez should fight soto-antillon winner for title unifier,or another champion for title unification.

I do think judah-marquez is the best match up,the riskiest one for him that hes been offered, marquez will make 140 no problem,he weighed 144 v katsidis in the fight.

maybe if marquez can beat judah at 140 it proves his effectiveness at a higher weight and his effectiveness v a fast southpaw who hits hard.

I think pac should want to and hoperfully get floyd next fight, then have marquez as possibly his last fight after that.

Pac would be his biggest payday now. JMM is not gettin younger.

At this pace and Floyd's legal problem, I see Pac fighting JMM first at 147. JMM is not the same fighter at 147 which is cool for uncle Bob.

That's because they can't guarantee a Pacquiao fight for him so the point is moot. Besides even if some random act of God happened and Arum agreed to negotiate a third fight for JMM against Pac, there's no way to positively say Manny would agree. Manny said on video himself that he wasn't interested in fighting JMM a third time. I know he usually does what Arum says but you rarely hear Pac say anything one way or another against fighting an opponent and in this case he did say he wasn't interested so there is that chance of Pac saying no. Besides, the weight will always be an issue.

I say if Juan is happy with the deal then good for him. I tend to agree with what Sluggerfan said about the 4 fight deal will probably add up to what he wanted to make for fighting Pacquiao. He's gonna have to work harder for it (4 fights as opposed to 1 against Pac) but it sounds like he has an amount he will be happy earning in order to retire. JMM definately deserves to be paid higher purses compared to some of these 'up and comers' that are getting paid a ridiculous 1 million dollar guaranteed purses (Berto, Kahn) - when they've done NOTHING in comparison to what JMM has already done.
