Byrd Oquendo was one of the worst decisions I have ever seen in a fight. Ever. And Briggs-Foreman was also ridiculous.

So with the above said, can any of you think of past or future fights that you believe to be fixed. Any boxing conspiracy theories you know of!?...

Do you think Mosley/Pac could be setup in a way for Mosley to loose (I know I know... most of you have Pac crushing him anyways) so that the Mega fight between Floyd and Pac can happen?

You know, as I was writing on whether I thought if Mosely can win or not, this ran accross my mind. I hate conspiracy theory but why would they let Mosely win this fight. Pac IS going to fight Floyd. They stand to loose Tens of millions.
What if GBP said that they weren't willing to let Mosely throw the fight and Mosely wanted to because he needed the money.
What if they're all in on it down to floyd and pac. Lord help me.....

Fights don't neccessarily need to have been "fixed" to be what they turn out to be. The fighter could just decide not to exert himself, maybe a poor purse, a lousy night out the night before, and other reasons not neccessarily connected wih "fix".

Sugar Ray Robinson, said, that he often had to fight 20 rounds, ten for himself and 10 for his "opponent". and the other boxers with him athe time (whose names I can'tr remember) said , yes, they had also.

THAT, to me, was "FIX". Of course this was when boxing was mafia controlled, a thing we often seem to forget when discussing old time fighters "records" and "victories", and "surprise wins".......etc.

Sonny Liston, in both fights with Ali, was completely mafia conrolled, I think his "control guy" was Blinky Palermo, who went to jail later. (Guys correct me if I'm wrong in the name here)

The Government even "took him away" eventually, and put him in charge of a Catholic priest to try to rehabilitate him, as the mafia at that juncture was at the begining of being on it's way out of boxing.

those were terrible decisions, but not exactly what I would call a 'fixed fight'.

It sounds like either delirium, a bad dream, or DT's. With Mosley do many years past his prime, this fight would have no need to even consider being "fixed".

Manny P. can only lose if he walks into "something", like Mayweather nearly did. If Mosley was in his lightweight days, I'd say he could well win.

Jack Johnson used to carry nearly all his opponents, he was so superior to them. You can see, in his old movies, where he hits a guy, catches him when he's on his way down and holds him up until he recovers, so that the fight can continue.

This was often so that the fight would last a respectable distance to give the "cash customers" their "money's worth" of "entertainment"................
