Bottom line, if Arum disagrees, fights won't get made. The money and power of an individual can influence anyone to believe what that individual wants them to believe.

Gullibility is only a human trait and one must not hate on people who are gullible to Arum's agenda. I forgive Bob Arum but that doesn't mean the truth is irreverent.

Bob Arum makes or breaks fights. He uses people to influence his agenda and to justify to the supporters why HE thinks he's matching the best possible matches....

We all know it's about money so lets be real, Bob doesn't want his cash cow losing, so strategic measures are taken even if its suing and having his fighters fight out of the ring (because that's what boxing needs right now?).

Lets give Top Rank a warm "applaudic" hand for continuing on with fighting in the ring and not a court room, matching the best vs best and keeping things all business and not personal. One thing about this article caught my attention......"undeserving loss to Leonard" LoL. By who's account??? Leonard won because he out-smarted, out-hustled, and made Marvin fight his fight. PERIOD. They are both ring LEGENDS but the truth is the truth. Marvin thought he was going to break Leonard but little did he know, you don't break Leonard. He was as tough as Hagler in my book. One punch can't beat a fighter like him. He was too smart. Anyone who argues that Hagler won, isn't being realistic and probably didn't like Leonard because he had ego and skill and will to back it all up.

Correct, I am a huge Hagler fan, but he lost that fight, no question.
