I would agree, you can't sell him short.

If Froch wins the super 6 and then beats Bute he will rank right up there with pac and martinez imo,as weird as it sounds saying it

pretty much this. I've thought he was going to lose quite a few times and he always managed to prove me wrong.

When Froch beats old man Johnson around the ring to a Wide UD and then Stuns FrWard with an Uppercut and smashes him into limbo then people will know who Carl Froch is.

The truth is he is a relentless fighter in the ring.

His tenacity and heart and his understated boxing ability may make him the toughest one of all.

Froch is highly regarded @ 168, but he is not cracking my pound for pound list. He barely sc****s by Dirrell, and Taylor(who was winning the fight) before the last 20 secs. A loss to Kessler and all of the sudden he's pound for pound? Who has he dominated besides Abraham? Don't even say Pascal because those cards were horrible.

Im starting to question how much longer Floyd should be ranked in the P4P lists I mean sure an active Floyd ranks 1 or 2 but to be honest his inactivity should be starting to count against him by now in terms of P4P status.

That being said with Floyd not on the list I would rank Froch 4th or 5th his resume would be pretty much unquestionable with those 2 more good wins on his record would boost his status no end.

Add a win against Bute and you might have a case for being ranked even higher, but all 3 fights will be tough Froch CAN win them all in my opinion but it will be very tough indeed.

                    My Active PND4PND excluding Mayweather...

                    Pacquiao
                    Martinez
                    Marquez
                    Hopkins
                    Donarie
                    Ward
                    Bradley
                    Wonjongkam
                    Dawson
                    Segura

Froch needs to beat Ward to earn my consideration.

Top five like most other people have said. I would love him to win & move up to challenge the likes of Dawson, Cloud, Cleverly & either Hopkins or Pascal depending on who wins.
