Thanks man. I've never been impressed with Molitor so I'm not gonna give Ndlovu a bunch of credit.

Steve Molitor isn't very good. They've had all his fights on Canadian TV for years and he's never impressed me.

He never fought very good opposition except for Caballero, and we know what happened in that fight.

So a decision win over Molitor at home really doesn't mean much. But since it's Ndlovu's first win in a world title fight, I thought I should include him in the poll.

I find it hard to seperate Zab and Martinez. Martinez' was clearly the all-around more accomplished performance, but those first real fruits of Zab's rededication were really a big deal for him at this stage; he showed qualities in there that were long considered beyond him -- albeit against an opponent who was limited, but tough and awkward to his credit -- and delivered a stoppage just as thrilling as Martinez' stoppage of Dzinziruk.

          Syllakh was also excellent.

Going by the posts above me, those are the three that stood out to most other observers, too.

            None of the above.

Vitali Klitschko is the boxer of the month IMO. He KO'd Solis in the 1st round.

Why isn't Vitali in the poll?

Im not sayin that Molitor is a big shot, Im just givin the Southern African credit for his progress he made over the years whereas the other fighter has declined.

winning the 3rd fight of a the trilogy with the 1st fight bein a KO defeat and the 2nd fight a decision loss (all championshipfights) is notable.

Vitali is one of my favorite fighters.

But the truth is, Odlanier Solis is just a fat pile of **** so he's not one of Vitali's better wins.

Everybody Vitali's fought since he came back (Peter, Gomez, Arreola, Johnson, Sosnowski and Briggs) put up a better fight. Solis was pathetic.

I agree. That's why he deserves to be in the poll.
