NFL Lock Out a good thing for Boxing??

We always talk about how one of the main reasons we don't have good HW boxers is because all our good BIG athletes are in other more lucrative sports (Football, Basketball, etc)

IF there is an NFL lock out do ya'll think this could be a blessing in disguise for the HW div???

we already have this Kat getting in the mix......

    Wonder how many others would..........

Its a pretty dumb excuse to explain away why a couple of big white guys who are not American are HW champions and I hope some of these guys do think it will be that easy, try to be boxers, and get embarrassed by Monte Barrett when they give it a try.

As far as football players fighting no. But if the cAn get the big fights done then they can get more viewership.

The argument is that if they would have gotten into boxing before they decided to go into football then we'd have a lot better American Heavyweights now a days. The lock out don't mean a thing. That guy will win a few more fights against tomatoe cans but once he gets in with somebody with a pulse he's getting dropped hard. You just can't go from the NFL to boxing over night and expect to be good. All it does I think is maybe bring a little more interest into boxing since an NFL player is boxing. But boxing was already just on ESPN yesterday because of Pascal-Hopkins 2 presser.

The lockout won't last. Too much money involved.

People still think there's gonna be a full lockout in the NFL???

Even if there were, it won't do anything to help Boxing because Boxing's promotional standards will remain the same. It's not like Boxing is out of the limelight because of other sports pushed it out (for the most part).

American NFL players are just as fat as American Heavyweights.

American NBA players on the other hand, that's who i'm interested in seeing in boxing.
