    hmm

Juan Carlos Gomez was KO'd by Yanqui Diaz. That pretty much puts him out of the equation. He's also old and wasted his career, losing his legs, etc.

Krasniqi seems ok but he wouldn't be slick enough to beat Vitali is my su****ion. Byrd we all know would get owned in a rematch.

James Toney is pretty slick but I don't even know if he can reach and hit VK without jumping.

An out of shape Toney only wishes he could beat Vitali. Vitali is too big, too strong, and too powerful. I think he would emberass Toney. Besides, Toney isn't exactly rushing to fight Vitali. Sadly, I don't think they ever will fight.

          .
He hasn't wasted his career yet, he's came back strong after that loss, which was self inflicted, and easily beaten the decent defiagbon among others, he's not that old, so his legs should still be there, but it's all about dedication.

So, everyone calls Wlad overrated, undeserving of a title shot, BUT , if Peter beats Wlad, he deserves a title shot?

I dont think he deserves a title shot with Vitali and if they fought Vitali would be him.

hopefully not. I actually think he'd want to fight Pete if Pete wins.

Right on - a la Corrie Sanders. If Peter beats Wlad (and that's a huge if), you can bet he'll be first on Vitali's hit list.

Of course, but Vitali is a different fighter than Wlad. He doesn't rush in and leave himselfr as open and he seems so far to have a great chin. I think the Peter Wlad fight is great. If Wlad loses in a sensational fashion, realistically its over for Wlad, if Wlad wins he's back in the mix.
I have a feeling Vitali beats Peter but you need to see Peter in with a fighter of the size of Vitali in order to form a good opinion.
