Yea Kats has scar tissue like Gatti one good jab and he is split open.

hell, going into the jmm fight he had a cut! well, at least during training, he even said, "it's just a cut, that isn't going to stop me from fighting"


i mean, look at his fight with amonsot, he basically had vaginas over each eye, that fight i personally think should've been stopped on cuts, thankfully it wasn't, but damn, those were BAD cuts........

it just proves how much a warrior he is because, cuts like that hurt like a mofo, even israel vazquez couldn't tolerate the pain when he was getting tagged on his cuts in his last fight with Rafa.............

i admire kats, the guy is a workaholic, on a fitness level, i put him up there with pac, mayweather, hopkins, martinez, elite level of fitness.......

Thankfully, for the progression of Mike's career at that point.


Amonsot has less to be thankful for. Had the fight ended prematurely on cuts, he might've been saved a good amount of that brain-trauma he suffered.


Incredible fight, though. Just barely believable it didn't get stopped on those cuts in these modern times.

With the way he cuts the ring side doc and ref become really important.I wonder if he has ever had surgery to clean up some of that scar tissue.
