im not convinved ward can fight from the outside. i see a couple dudes around beating ward. don't count out the road warrior either if he gets past froch, road warrior can neutralize speed
I thought you said it was going to be speed? And I actually agreed with you then because I believe he's the modern day Hopkins. The only people who gave Hopkin's trouble were speed guys like prime young roy jones and Jermain Taylor, Calzaghe only made it close because he was so damn fast with those sissy slaps.

I think he'll do his best work against guys who aren't speed boxers like Kessler. Hopkins trashed prime Glenn Johnson so I'D LOVE to see how Hopkins does against him to see how good that comparison is. I think Abraham might be able to chin check him though because he's patient as **** with such a low work rate he could probably hit him when Ward leasts expect it. But I think Ward has the heart to persevere.

And don't get me started on Bute. I still don't think he's even top 5 until he beats Kessler. He does have a mean uppercut though but I still don't think he special until he beats some super 6 guys. I really want Dirrell to call him out and school him.

this is what you do. go to vb plaza menu and deposit your dough in your bank, then start betting fools. you can make bets in nsb or go to the betting forum. whoever you bet with will tell you how to transfer money, or better yet, will send you money.

lets start it up now, pick a close fight this month and tell me who you got.....

that's one thin (speed) but ward can be outboxed too from the outside and touched up.

bute hasn't really proved shi t, but ward hasn't proved much more. ward's best win is vs kessler, all his othe rwins are against the type of guys bute's been fighting. and I believe kessler hasn't been teh same since calzaghe. he struggled vs perdomo for chrissake

Yeah Kessler has been demoted to journeymen which really is really starting to hurt Calzaghe's win over him. If you beat kessler though I think that makes you definitely an top super middleweight because he's still a live fighter I guess.

I can't wait for Johnson vs Froch. The winner will definitely probably be Ward's toughest fight to date because Froch seems hungrier since he got his first loss. He got lucky he was in england against Dirrell but I think he learned his lesson in that close fight to Kessler. And Johnson is ALWAYS hungry. Ward is far from a shoe in to win the tournament. I think he will but he's going to have to go through hell to do it. But after getting up from that knockdown I think he has the great to go through fire.

                  if you're a boy
and then you become a man (over time) your chin will get better

years going by can make your chin stronger depending on the stage of life the fighter is in.

once you hit your prime physically, it wont get any better. you'll only be taking punishment
but if you arent taking a lot of punches during your career you will be able to take better punches as you mature

I dont know if his chins all that bad. That was a pretty damn good uppercut and he ducked right into it.

It could land him in trouble against Froch or Bute who throw nice uppercuts.
