    mercado II anyone? winky wright????

hopkins has sent more fighters into retirement than old age.....
Lol, the results of those fights don't even come close to "killing" or "bludgeoning". B-Hop IS NOT KNOWN FOR A VIOLENT "BLUDGEONING" STYLE. Any boxing fan or expert will tell you that.

All B-hop needs to do is get into that bouncing back and forth lightly on his feet, rhythm and Pascal will retreat, wait and get beat up to the body again.

If you watch the first two rounds closely, B-Hop was too stiff, had a high guard and was almost flat footed. That's when he got caught by the big looping punches. Once he got into a rhythm and started to feint, Pascal froze and he started unloading to the body.

I think he'll adjust and get it done this time as Pascal is not a Great fighter. A pretty good one, but not great. Part of being great is adjusting, B-hop can do it, Pascal can't.

        Sheesh.

You guys are getting caught up in semantics.

Alright, it's not bludgeoning, rephrase and call it something else (B-Hop did beat the crap out of those guys even if it's not bludgeoning), and move on . Christ!!!

In today's world and especially in combat sports forums, SEMANTICS IS EVERYTHING.

really? trinidad didn't even have a competitive round in that fight.

joppy was almost killed, so bad in fact that boxing commissions wanted to make it so boxers couldn't make personal bets on their fights because joppy and hopkins made a bet about joppy going the distance with him, which had the bet not been made, EVERYONE believes that had the bet not been in place they would've stopped the fight, and everyone was referring to the ref and joppy's corner........... just look at the before and after pics of joppy that fight.

joppy looked like he got beat with a brick and a bat..........

c'mon son, hopkins destroyed those guys, none of them were ever the same again.................. only a small few have gone on to do anything worthwhile in boxing after fighting hopkins, and thats a fact.

Respect to Hopkins for what he's doing at this stage of his career ( Cheating or not) but I hope Pascal wins this fight.

LOL, ALL YOUR RANTING DOESN'T EVEN COME CLOSE TO PROVING THAT B-HOP IS SOME MONSTER WITH EXTRAORDINARY POWER THAT MURDERS EVERYTHING HE TOUCHES.

B-Hop hasn't been a huge PPV draw for a reason. The man has had plenty of LESS THAN EXCITING fights that have resulted in decisions. B-Hop is known for his technical style, NOT THIS "BLUDGEONING" style that you speak of. If he decides to abandon this style and actually tries to head hunt and "bludgeon" Pascal, he's going to lose. Let's be real. Bernard will look to OUTBOX Pascal. NOTHING CLOSE TO "KILLING" PASCAL. LOL
