thats the only thing these haters got on marquez. i will never understand why people hate on marquez so much. he is one of the greaster featherweight, super featherweight, and lightweight champions of all time. he is the oldest fighter to hold a lightweight belt. and imo that speaks for itself. i understand the hate for floyd because of his personality. when i heard he was retiring to go fight the big show it almost got sick, and lost all the respect i had for the man. and i can understand why people hate on pacquiao too, since his last bout with marquez in 2008 he, arum, and roach have cherry picked every fighter he has fought. but people still hate on marquez, give the man credit for what he has accomplished.

The only people that have a significat negative opinion of JMM are the ones that despise him for bloodying up their hero.

I don't care if it doesn't make "fiscal sense." Marquez hammred on that ass, and everyone on Earth saw it expect 4 judges.

And they reason he wore that shirt is simple as that: Because the vast majority of boxing journalists have him winning both fights, and virtually unanimously agree that he bested Pac in the second fight.

The guy deserves the 3rd fight for those reasons alone. And with a decent cut of the purse.

Well, one of two things most likely are happening here. Either Arum is lying which is a huge possibility since he does it all the time or JMM is lying to Schaefer that people have approached him regarding a Pacquiao fight. JMM could be using this as leverage to either gain a better contract from GBP or to persuade them to either make the Pacquiao fight without GBP being involved or he will bolt completely. JMM is desparate for the Pacquiao fight so I don't blame him if he is indeed f**king with Shaefer and playing mind games...

If you want to say JMM won both fights, fine, you have ample reasoning to back that up. But saying JMM hammered his ass makes you sound very biased and unrealistic...

Yup.

The fight was close. It was one of those rare two way action fights for majority of the rounds. Kissing the canvas is the worst possible thing you can do for your scorecard as well.

You're right. My choice of words wasn't the best. They were 2 close fights, and none of the scorecards were exactly outrageous.

"Pac didn't deserve a W in either" is what I should have went for.
