Ivan has been one of the best technicians in boxing for the last ten years. He was regularly included on the P4P top ten list. He even slapped de la Hoya while sparring with him a couple of rounds in the past. Cotto and Mosley have sparred with him too because of his abilities and incredible defense. He was never a draw because he has no power and because he's so small he's basically confined to 105 and 108 pounds. Many fans don't follow these lower weights.

Sadly for him, he's past his prime. He hasn't look well in his last fights... and honestly I think it will be very difficult for him to win against Segura. I hope he proves me wrong, but I think this could be his retirement.
